FROM JACK’S DESK…
We are now officially into the final stretch for 2012.
The last date to order windows for 2012 delivery is Dec. 3 2012. We still have some time to install them before Christmas. It is also possible to order them now for a January or February installation. And yes, we actually do install windows in the winter months. We use top quality Tremco Dymonic or Sika polyurethane, and neutral-cure silicone caulkings, and not the cheaper construction grade, butyl based caulking such as Mulco or other lumber yard brands. So it is possible to properly install and warranty our window work in the winter as long as the weather isn’t blustery!! As a matter of fact most siding and soffit installations can also be done in the winter months. But we will not install seamless trough if it is too cold…minus 8C or so…because of expansion issues.
FROM time to time customers will ask if we will offer a reduced price, if the work is paid for by cash. We at Jack’s will accept payment in cash or cheque but the price will be the same. We simply do not cheat on our customers nor on the government, and we treat our suppliers, the authorities, and our clients with that same high level of integrity. We have little patience for our competitors and potential customers who are willing to deal under the table, so to speak. Ask yourself, who would you prefer to deal with when it comes to siding and window installations…a company with a good reputation, with a good level of honesty and integrity, or a company who cheats and makes it more difficult for the rest of us. It is your choice!!
Enjoy the ‘Christmas shopping’ season!!
